About PostHive

Powered by PostHive
PostHive was created to be a social community for bloggers and blog readers. PostHive allows blog readers access to the highest quality blog posts without tons of searching and stumbling, and a blogger access to a wider audience and feedback on what their readers enjoy.

There are two main parts to PostHive, a rating widget that allows users to rate individual blog posts, and a website that aggregates these ratings and features the highest rated posts.

Not A Marketing Guru? We've Got Your Back
The average blogger is not a marketing guru. With little internet marketing experience, most bloggers have a very difficult time gaining new readers. It's almost impossible to compete with the big name bloggers out there. So while the big name bloggers might be content on churning out mediocre posts, our emerging blogger is consistantly producing high quality posts. And the higher quality posts should be rewarded.

What Makes PostHive Different?
Why PostHive instead of {insert one of many hundreds of other web 2.0 sites here}? Well, PostHive is built specifically for bloggers and blog readers. Here's where we aim to be different:

  • The ratings are done at the post level, not at the blog level. Why is this so important? Well, have you ever looked at a big traffic blog and said, "Another blah post. My stuff is better than that."? Great posts deserve to be read, and read by lots and lots of people, whether you have a blog with 50 readers or one with 50,000 readers. PostHive gives bloggers access to readers and readers access to great posts.
  • Most sites out there require a manual submission of your content. When you load PostHive's rating widget on your blog, your posts are automatically available to rate. This gives you instant access to what your readers are looking for and gives your reader another outlet for feedback for your content.
  • Most other rating systems are a simple yes/no. PostHive lets users add clarity to the rating, while presenting in a way everyone is already familiar.

Take a look around, and let us know what you think.

Who Is PostHive?

  • Most Importantly, PostHive is the bloggers and the readers. Without all of you, there is no PostHive.
